The Young Alumni Career and Internship Advice Panel held in January was an event for the Development Office’s career networking program, D-E Horizons. The inspirational panel featured ten D-E graduates who have distinguished themselves as leaders in their respective industries since graduation. D-E juniors and seniors, along with college-age alumni, learned about the panelists’ personal journeys, struggles, and triumphs and how D-E positioned them to succeed in college, graduate school, the workplace, and beyond. It gave those in attendance an invaluable opportunity to ask questions of young alumni who have recently experienced what they are going through now to help them navigate this part of life’s journey.
This event featured moderator Patricia Arlin Bradley ’82 (head of Human Resources at ContraFect Corp.) and panelists Gabrielle Aboodi ’10 (associate account executive at Krupp Kommunications, Inc.), Gianna Alessi ’09 (teaching actress/singer), David Bradley ’08 (technical account manager in Client Services at Apprenda), Devin Delliquanti ’02 (comedian/writer for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah), Sabrina Garcia ’10 (executive assistant to the senior vice president at Creative Promotion at Nickelodeon), Matthew Green ’05 (vice president at Citigroup), Steven Hazarian, CPA ’05 (audit manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLP), Roy Moran ’05 (lead corporate counsel at FanDuel), Hannah Kopelman ’10 (medical student), and Jocelyn Mak ’05 (fashion director at HL Group).
