FLIK Dining Service Serves Up New Deli Concept

In May, D-E’s FLIK Dining Service introduced a weekly deli theme, much to the delight of our Middle and Upper School students, faculty and staff (not to mention parent volunteers)!: Each month there are 4 themes-
1. NY Deli-pastrami, corned beef, swiss, coleslaw, Thousand Island dressing, and other toppings
2. Chipolte Deli-Grilled Chipolte Chicken, Black Beans, Guacamole, wraps, and other toppings
3. Make Your Own Sub Deli-Ham, Salami, Pepperoni, Sub Rolls, and other toppings
4. Asian Deli-Lemongrass Chicken, Tofu, Snow Pea Shoots, Avocado, and other toppins

Terri Pisack, Dining Services Director, explained, “Basically we wanted to showcase a new concept with the Deli by being innovative and coming up with a different deli theme for each week of the month. Every deli theme has been a complete success!”
