StringJam Goes to New England

Contributed by Annaliesa Place, Upper School Performing Arts Faculty Member and Director of Strings, StringJam, and String Society

D-E’s StringJam ensemble went on a small New England road trip earlier this month, performing at two boarding schools in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Our first stop was St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH – where D-E’s Head of School Dr. Rodney De Jarnett previously taught. We were featured at the morning service on Feb. 5. – and got an instant standing ovation! Our second performance was at Milton Academy in Milton, MA, the next day. We performed for the Milton orchestra students, and then they performed a piece for us. It was a nice chance for the students to meet other musicians at another school.
