If there was ever a silver lining to the long and cold winter, it was the noticeable surge of interest and enthusiasm by middle school students to partake in our athletic program this Spring.  Participation by students in the middle school athletic program during the Spring season was at a record high of 57% !

Well over 50 contests occurred throughout the course of our eight week season.  It was remarkable to watch the children putting themselves on the line, regardless of whether the outcome would result in a loss or victory.   Whether it was the 12 strikeouts in 6 innings thrown by Lachlan Charles ’18, the new record times in various track meets established by Jun Omiya ’18, Chris Klemm ’18, Paulina Chartouni ’20 and Hannah Brown ’19, or the comeback victories achieved by the MS Softball and Girls Lacrosse teams, it was positive spirit and enthusiasm for competition that always came alive when our athletes stepped across the painted lines of the field or through gates that stand vividly in our minds.

Go Bulldogs!
