In initial competitions, including the NJIC Championships, the Bergen County Championships and the State Indoor Track Relays held in mid-January at Toms River, the Bulldogs made major strides. Here are some examples:

Jeremy Bronstein ’19 already known on the track for his dominating distance running with D-E Boys Cross Country, came in 2nd place and set a new D-E- School record in the 1600(Mile) (4.36).

Naseer Wilson ’18 cleared 6 feet and Folajimi Olutiola ’19 achieved 5’ 4” as Dwight-Englewood won the boys high jump (combined heights of both athletes together). Naseer is also the new Bergen County Champion and is the D-E all-time record holder in the high jump, at a height of 6’2.

India Marseille ’20 and Adia Guthrie ’21 set a new D-E School Indoor Track record and finished in 3rd place for the shot put relay (combined throws of both athletes together).

Victoria Kong ’18 and Paulina Chartouni ’20 tied the D-E School Indoor Track record for the high jump relay (combined heights of both athletes together).

At 27.26, Caroline Lee ’20 broke the school record in the 200M.

Jordan McKoy ’19 scored his 1000th career point for D-E Boys Varsity Basketball on Saturday, Jan. 13, when the Bulldogs were victorious in the Public vs. Private Tourney game against Dwight Morrow High School!
