Entrepreneurship was in action when D-E 6th
graders recently engaged in a new D-E tradition: the
TREP$ Marketplace! TREP$, short for
enTREPreneur$, is aimed at students learning about
the evolution of business start-ups and creating their
own products and services. After a ribbon-cutting by Head of School Jeremy Gregersen, the TREP$ Marketplace 2023 officially opened and enjoyed a wonderful turnout from D-E students of all ages, faculty, family and friends.
This year's TREP$ Marketplace featured "storefronts."
selling homemade treats, handmade one-of-kind gifts,
experiences including basketball throwing and tie
dyed apparel-making, and more! All money raised
went to the students' charity of choice.
