The Art & Design Department is currently hosting- "Dabbling", featuring works by Science Department Chair Ms. Tara Weinstein, through October. Visitors can view handmade tapestries, clothing pieces, watercolor pieces and more! The exhibit reflects Tara's commitment to "learn how to do everything," and it's an incredible showcase of skill, patience, and a love-for-learning. Meanwhile in the Theatre Department. auditions are underway for the Upper School Fall Play, "She Kills Monsters" by Qui Nguyen, performing in November.

D-E Boys Varsity Soccer is 10-4 and Girls' Varsity Tennis is 10-5! Girls' Varsity Soccer won their home game against Elmwood Park 4-3 on Senior Night. Families and friends have been gathering on Solomon Field, Graham Field, and elsewhere, to celebrate and recognize our Class of 2024 athletes on their accomplishments and commitment to their teams. D-E Athletics has also been surprising fans with special Bulldogs-themed 'swag' to sport at home games! Go Bulldogs!!! (D-E in the Garden), hosted our annual D-E Honey Harvest! With our apiarist, Eric, students learned about how bees make honey, what other substances bees make, and more! Did you know that honey harvested during different seasons will produce different shades of color? Students enjoyed removing beeswax caps and watching the centrifuge extract the honey from the honeycomb frames. Here's to a sweet lesson about nature's gifts! This year, that cause was Runway to Recovery, an organization committed to fighting breast cancer. On "Pink Out" Day, all students wore pink in honor of breast cancer awareness and by the end of the week, more than $7000 was raised! We also celebrated two "Bulldog Battles" during Spirit Week 2023, a new D-E tradition where our even- and odd-numbered class years go head-to-head in fun competitions like "Dress-a-Bulldog" Dribbling Relay. Cheers to both our Gold and Blue Teams, to our Class of 2024 Seniors for winning Spirit Week 2023, and to everyone for coming together for a great cause!
