Black History Month is about recognizing and appreciating black culture and the significant role that Black /African Americans have provided in American History. D-E Black Affinity Group students presented a special Upper School Assembly designed to honor and highlight those who have made a difference and recognize the role those achievements have made in the modern world today. This month’s theme was on Black health and wellness and its importance, acknowledging black scholars and medical practitioners in western medicine.
