D-E happily welcomed back alumna Haley Algrant ‘21, as the guest artist kicking off this year’s Swartley Gallery Series. In her exhibit, “A VHS Love Story,” on view through September 30, Haley paints disfigured characters to show how characters in pop culture have evolved in response to conservative social policies. The Gallery hosted a meet-and-greet with Haley today, where students, faculty, and staff could learn more about her work. Joining the gathering were Haley’s sister, fellow alumna Isabel ‘17, and former Upper School Principal Joseph Algrant.
