D-E’s Thanksgiving Drive 2024 was a huge success! Thanks to the D-E community’s overwhelming generosity, we collected more than $5,000 for the Center for Food Action in addition to a large quantity of food items. We also filled half a school bus with all the oversized bags full of coats and clothing we collected for the local Bergen Family Center. Middle School students Haeley C. ’29 and Kaitlin C. ’29, who were on the Middle School Thanksgiving Drive Committee, say they were proud to be a part of one of the most successful drives in D-E history. “So many people are in need of winter clothing and are food insecure, so it was amazing to be able to give back to them,” says Kaitlin. Way to come together to “make it better” for our community!
