Way to Go Bulldogs! Our Ice Hockey Club Team continues their inaugural season with fan-tastic games! Last week the team took on Columbia Prep at Englewood’s Mackay Arena. Despite a limited bench and penalty box time, our team rallied with a breakaway goal, 1-0 lead into the first intermission. Columbia tied the score in period 2 and then scored a 2-1 lead before the second intermission. Columbia ultimately won 3-1, but the Bulldogs showed true grit through it all. 

This week the Bulldogs battled St. Peter’s Prep. Our Bulldogs faced a full Marauders bench (thus, more ice time) but even so the score was tied at 0-0 after the first period. Despite fatigue, our players still demonstrated perseverance ’till game’s end. After a D-E power play and rare penalty shot, the game went to Prep with a final 4-2 score. Still, what a D-Etermined effort from all the Bulldogs!
