D-E’s youngest students who participated in a recent D-E 360° Meadowlands Environmental Center (MEC) Field Trip had an incredible day! The wetlands, where MEC is located, provide a vital ecosystem in New Jersey. Students enjoyed hands-on explorations to uncover the world of animals and their habitats, plants and vegetation. These aspiring scientists were able to get up close but not too personal with plankton, learned about insects, and left with many artifacts from the day. CHEERS to scientific discovery!
