Last week, Dr. Joe Chuman, the former leader of the Ethical Culture Society of Bergen County, stopped by Hulst House to speak with students and faculty on his article, “War and the Value of Human Life.” In a conversation moderated by Joe Murphy, D-E Ethics Department Chair, Dr. Chuman spoke eloquently about his life work, philosophy, and current topics such as crises in the Middle East. It was a fantastic conversation and dialogue. Thank you to Dr. Chuman, and here’s to productive discussions!
