Club Etre Recognizes Women’s History Month

To recognize the upcoming Women’s History Month (in March), our Club Être Club hosted an informative assembly about the month’s significance. We learned about the International Women’s Day (March 8) and the International Day of the Girl Child (October 11), and we did some educational trivia regarding statistical data on women in the workforce.

The assembly also featured a special guest speaker, Ilana Raia ’86, a D-E alumna and founder of the Être organization. Ilana spoke about her experience founding the organization and the importance of mentorship. It was a lovely and thoughtful presentation! After her presentation, Illana was available to talk directly with students and sign her book, “The Epic Mentor Guide”. Thank you to Club Être and Ilana Raia for an insightful and inspiring morning!
