Earlier this week D-E School officially observed Eid Al-Fitr on Wednesday, April 10. To then celebrate the holiday as a community, our Middle Eastern Parent Affinity Group hosted a D-Elicious luncheon today for faculty and staff. Additionally, the parent group also hosted a toy drive in honor of the month-long holiday. 4th & 5th Graders wrapped toys, action figures, dolls, board games, and more to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. It was a lovely way to celebrate the end of Ramadan. Eid Mubarak everyone, and thank you to our Middle Eastern Parent Affinity Group for all their work!
