Our Grade 6 students recently headed off-campus on a lovely fall day to the Meadowlands Science Center. In connection with their science class, students engaged with both direct instruction and hands-on work addressing the concepts of sustainable design, and why these are important in our communities. “The field trip was very interactive,” says Aadya J. ’31. She and her classmates demonstrated their knowledge by selecting materials and constructing a 3-D model of their own “green” home. We loved the smart designs they came up with!
