Alumni Reunion 2024 Highlights

Oct 25, 2024 | Recent News, Reunion

Together again! Last weekend 100’s of alumni from the Dwight School, Englewood School for Boys (ESB), and D-E, together with current and former faculty/staff members, families, and friends were on campus, around Englewood, and beyond… for Alumni Reunion 2024 celebrations! In addition to private gatherings for those alumni classes celebrating milestone years, the campus-wide Kraut Run and on-campus tours, Reunion 2024 events included special ceremonies in Schenck Auditorium,  honoring recipients of this year’s Distinguished Alumni Award (DAA) and Athletic Hall of Fame (AHF). The DAA honorees were Jay Lesenger ESB ’69, a stage director, administrator, and teacher; Matt Vita ’74, former sports editor at The Washington Post; and Tara Kole ’94, an entertainment lawyer and professor. The AHF recipients were Ricky Bawa ’04 for tennis; Hanna Jerome ’14 for cross country and track; and D-E’s 1984 Girls’ Softball Team. Congratulations to our DAA and AHF 2024 honorees for this extremely well-deserved recognition! Following the ceremonies, the Alumni-Faculty Reunion Reception was held in the Wharton Lessin Dining Hall, where milestone-year graduates gathered for photos. We’re grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate with our community of life-long learners!
