Chess players, are you ready for a new challenge? Great news! D-E 360° ‘s own “Coach Mac” (aka Grandmaster Mackenzie Molner) is hosting a rated chess tournament on Sunday, March 23 for all students, ranging from K-8th grade. This is a short and fun tournament with trophies or medals for all players. The tournament starts at 2 PM in Hajjar Auditorium (2nd Floor, Campus Center) and gives a great chance to practice for future chess tournaments. Coach Mac is also hosting and playing in an all-day event for players with a US Chess rating above 1700. It’s the strongest monthly chess tournament in New Jersey! D-E students, you are welcome to play if your rating fits the category, or to come and quietly watch the games in progress. For info. & to register click the QR code below.
