Chamber Music Society Hosts Afternoon Concert in Hulst House

D-E’s Chamber Music Society (DCMS) hosted a small concert in Hulst House last Thursday afternoon. The showcase began with Miranda Cheng ’26, Brandan Zhu ’26, and Sianne Kim ’26 performing “Por Una Cabeza,” followed by Brahms’ Clarinet Trio in A minor, Op. 114, played by William Kang ’27, Micah Chan ’27, and Leah Gavilan ’27. Upper School (US) World Language Teacher Madame Renée-Claire Pritchard and US English Teacher Mr. Joshua Vargas closed the concert with Debussy’s “Petite Suite: Menuet” (for four hands). “This was such a meaningful opportunity for our community to come together and appreciate the power of collaboration and chamber music,” says DCMS student leader Miranda. “I loved seeing how each group took ownership of their piece and how our months of rehearsal came to life in performance.” Bravo to our chamber music aficionados for sharing your passion with the D-E community!
