The sense of community was palpable throughout the D-E campus during Friday’s Welcome Back to School Barbecue, hosted by the Parents’ Association. Students, families, faculty, and staff from all three divisions gathered on Leggett Field to enjoy lawn games, a photo booth, a ‘campus explorer’ scavenger hunt, and live music from Jazz Rock. Ace the Bulldog even made an appearance, as did Head of School, Dr. CW. Inside the Wharton Lessin Dining Hall, Chef Alex and his team served a delicious spread, including brisket, chicken, corn on the cob, mac and cheese, watermelon, and brownies. What a D-Elightful way to start the new school year!
