“ACE is a wonderful way to keep the joy of learning going after the school day ends.”

“ACE is a wonderful way to keep the joy of learning going after the school day ends,” says Dr. Sherronda Brown P’31, ’31, Director of D-E 360°. “We also offer extended afternoon options, with classes running from 3:30 PM through 5:50 PM, as well as Homework Club across grade levels to support both enrichment and balance.”

The Chess Team, in particular, has had an exciting season thus far, competing with players of all skill levels at D-E and across New Jersey. During the most recent tournament, hosted in the D-E Stem Center, there were almost 70 participants from about 20 different schools across New Jersey in attendance, with 21 students representing D-E.

“The kids really enjoyed themselves, and the teams did very well—they won first place in each section except for the Over 1000 section, in which they earned the 2nd place trophy,” said Grandmaster Mackenzie “Coach Mac” Molner. He added that the team is looking forward to ChessFest 2026, also taking place at D-E, on Sunday, April 19.

Coach Mac will be offering a special training session in preparation for ChessFest and Nationals on Saturday, April 11, on campus. Half-day options will be available and registration will be offered through his Events4Chess page.

See below for the full D-E 360° Spring Term 2026 schedule, including school-wide events:

Please note that all students must register for the Spring ACE term—including current ACE families.

If we have not received updated selections or heard from families currently enrolled in ACE by Wednesday, March 25, students will be automatically re-registered in their current schedule and applicable fees will apply.

Families are encouraged to review the spring offerings and register through the D-E 360° website: de360.d-e.org/ace. For any questions, please email de360info@d-e.org.
