Lifers Dinner for the Class of 2024
A beloved annual event, our annual “D-E Lifers” Dinner, held up to tradition earlier this spring. “Lifers” are our senior students who have attended D-E in all three divisions. During this year’s dinner, each “Lifer” from the Class of 2024 — more than 30 in all! — honored one specific faculty or staff member who made a positive impact on them during their entire tenure at D-E. Students wrote short yet moving speeches thanking their honoree. Please see below for a list of all of our Class of 2024 “Lifers”.

Tara Weinstein Book Launches
From Physics to Fiction! Ms. Tara Weinstein, who is D-E’s Science Department Chair, teaches Upper School Physics, and enjoys a range of hobbies from dancing to weaving, can now add published novelist to her list of accomplishments! Ms Weinstein’s debut novel, The Only Way Out Is Through (Blair; 2026), won the independent publisher’s annual Bakwin Literary Award in 2024, and she celebrated its August release with two book launches last month and more to come.
