I try to seek excellence and find my voice in the creative arts, particularly film and poetry. My drive to find this voice stems from the impact that I see these artistic mediums can have in the world, and if I can effectively tell stories with a unique voice, I too can impact people’s perspectives. Film and poetry are outlets of creative expression and I find the process of storytelling to be satisfying because I enjoy the challenge of exhibiting the creativity, the vision, and the determination necessary to create and finish a project. In these fields, the results are rewarding because seeing both the tangible or intangible effect on the receiver of the art is extremely gratifying to me as the creator. That being said, it is a combination of both the means and ends of storytelling that motivates me forward.
