TREP$, short for enTREPreneur$, is aimed at students learning about the evolution of business start-ups and creating their own products and services. 6th Grade students underwent a two-month process in which they brainstormed ideas, developed marketing materials and signage, and created products and original ‘experiences’ for sale. After a ribbon-cutting by Head of School Jeremy Gregersen, the TREP$ Marketplace 2023 officially opened and enjoyed a wonderful turnout from D-E students of all ages, faculty, family and friends. This year’s TREP$ Marketplace featured “storefronts,” selling coffee, lemonade, basketball carnival games, friendship bracelets, dog treats––you name it! All money raised went to a charity of choice.
