Last week, D-E’s Model United Nations (D-EMUN) team competed at AMUN, hosted by Bergen County Academies. Their conference has been hosted for more than 25 years, and has expanded to more than 15 schools with 300+ delegates participating. The D-EMUN delegation had 10 people, spread across their General Assemblies and their Crisis committees, with an emphasis on novice participation of delegates who had never been to a collegiate conference. D-EMUN Co-Leader Max Koppelman ‘26 shared, “Even though this group had less experience with collegiate Model UN, they performed superbly, winning 9 total awards (90% Award Rate), including 4 Best Delegate awards. We also won our SECOND “Best Delegation” award in a row, solidifying this year as one of the most successful in team history.” Congratulations to all delegates who participated!
