Congrats to Emma Hsu ‘25, Grace Dalgetty ‘26!

Cheers to Emma Hsu ‘25 and Grace Dalgetty ‘26, both of whom competed in the recent State Meet of Champions in Pennsauken, NJ (the highest level of high school competition in New Jersey),and made D-E School history in the process!

Emma competed in both Triple Jump and Long Jump. Track & Field Coach Orestes Medina noted, “She entered the Triple Jump ranked 18th and finished 18th in what proved to be one of the most competitive fields in recent memory. In the Long Jump, Emma showed tremendous effort and came just shy of her personal best of 17’5.75″, landing a strong jump of 17’1″ and finishing 23rd overall.” Emma graduates as the best Long & Triple jumper in D-E history! 

Grace delivered a record-breaking performance in the High Jump, finishing 3rd overall with a soaring leap of 5’6″, a new D-E record, and the highest individual placement our school has ever earned at the State Meet of Champions! Coach Medina shared “Her incredible jump also secured her All-State Honors and qualified her for Nationals! It’s an incredible achievement.” GO EMMA! GO GRACE! GO BULLDOGS!!!
