Happy National Poetry Month! In celebration, the English Department, in partnership with the Dwight-Englewood Writers (DEW) student organization, hosted Spring 2026 Write Night yesterday in The Imperatore Library, with a focus on poetry readings. Specifically, several Upper School students read original sonnets they wrote for Mr. Kosnik’s English class on themes such as memories, nature, friends, and letting go. Familiar poems were also read, including Robert Frost’s “Mending Wall.” As is tradition, D-E faculty and staff also shared their own poems. Bravo to all our amazing writers and presenters!
