“Odd One’s Out”

Are all birds able to fly?

Are all penguins able to make that first dive?

Then why, do we always follow those who have no right to dignify,

The stereotypes that have been fortified and glorified,

That are not true. 

If my ethnicity is considered smart then I am supposed to be smart!

Who considered it to be smart?

And those who fail to meet societies social standings,

Are left in the corner like an uneaten apple pie.

Delicious, but never been tried.

There are not races, there is a race,

The human race.

So why are we all treated differently?
