A beloved annual tradition returned to the LS on May 30 when the Kindergarten Zoo was set up by LS teachers Ms. Tricia Fiore P’16,’19, Ms. Kristina Dellefave, Ms. Teresa Cali, and Ms. Meghna Mathur on Mr. Rocky’s Field. Enthusiastic kindergarteners, donning safari vests and hats, were eager to share information about their colorful dioramas focused on their designated animal from a specific habitat, ranging from the outback, rainforest, and African savanna to the mountains and ocean. Our students answered questions from parents and other visitors about their animals, such as what they eat, what features they have, and any interesting facts. Ms. Fiore remarked that D-E Lifers in the US often remember what animal they researched during their own Kindergarten Zoo. We love hearing about these full-circle moments in our community!
