Orientation to the Sixth Grade and Middle School for Current Grade 5 Parents & Parents of Students Newly Admitted to 6th Grade

Middle School Principal Jonathan Davis, 6th Grade Dean Tasha Urbanowski, and the sixth grade team teachers invite you to an informational evening on the sixth grade and the middle school.
We will begin in Umpleby Hall with an opportunity to meet some of the team teachers informally in their classrooms. We will then move to Hajjar Auditorium at 7:00 pm for a presentation on the 6th grade transition, the 6th grade language and arts options, and the middle school experience. Mr. King, Chair of Mathematics, will speak about the math placement process; Mr. Shaw, Director of Academic Technology, will discuss the 6th grade technology program; and Mr. Agramonte, Associate Director of MS Athletics, will share information about the sports teams in the Middle School.
Refreshments will be served.
