D-EFAC (Dwight-Englewood Fights Against Cancer) hosted a March Madness fundraiser for young alumna Mariam Abdelhaq ’17 who is fighting breast cancer. Students created teams and paid an entry ticket to enter the basketball tournament. The senior team “Mutant Ninja Turtles” won the final showcase game. D-EFAC raised $4,847.77 dollars for Mariam. D-EFAC is motivated and inspired to continue supporting research and efforts to fight cancer. Fight on, Bulldogs!
