Club Être Celebrates Women’s History Month

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Club Être “Zoomed” in early March with Elizabeth “Beth” O’ Connell, proud ambassador and strategic advisor to O’Connell is a multi Emmy award recipient and she was one of the first female Executive Producers at NBC News. She helped lead the “Today Show” to number one in ratings success, launched NBC Mobile, and was interim President of MSNBC. In the words of Club Être co-leader Amber Carr ’22, Club Être is a girl/women empowerment group “that strives to support, mentor, and empower young women in their middle school, high school, and college journeys” and as such, meeting with O’Connell provided an inspiring and fitting launch to recognition of empowered (and empowering) women leaders.
