Congratulations to Upper School student athlete Sylvie Yao ’27 for being named Girls Tennis Player of the Year by the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference (NJIC)! The NJIC described Sylvie as “dominant” when she’s on the court, with only one loss in dual matches this season. The sophomore also won the first singles title at the Bergen County Tournament and defeated her opponent in the semifinals. Later in the year, Sylvie advanced to the quarterfinals of the state singles tournament after defeating four opponents. Way to go, Bulldog!
