D-E eighth-graders Jazzy H. ’29, Sehyun C. ’29, Haeley C-B ’29, Defne V. ’29, and Samir P. ’29 recently participated in the NJ Middle School Science Bowl Tournament at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab. “The team collaborated to solve difficult problems in STEM areas such as chemistry, math, physics, and biology,” says MS advisor and Innovation Coordinator Colleen Larionoff. “Throughout the day, they exhibited excellent sportsmanship and persevered when they encountered challenging questions.” Meanwhile, students Jack Boghossian ’26, Sylvie Yao ’27, Jason Lee ’27, Daniela Delyusto ’25, and Isabella Morales ’26 did a great job representing D-E’s Upper School! “I chose to participate in Science Bowl because it sounded like an interesting way to learn more about science,” says Defne. “Going to the tournament and competing was really fun.” We’re proud of everyone who participated!
