Our 1st Grade students presented their Houses & Homes Project this week! What makes a home, and how do we homes differ across the world? Students began by first learning about continents and their features. Then in groups of 5, students built models based off of real homes from around the world! With the help of the 4 C’s: Communication, Collaboration, Compromise, & Cooperation, students dazzled D-E parents, faculty, and staff with their knowledge and enthusiasm during their culminating exhibit.
