D-E’s 6th graders recently made their mark for International Dot Day! Inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ book “The Dot,” the annual event celebrates creativity, courage, and collaboration. As part of the D-E event, Innovation Coordinator Ms. Larionoff read the story aloud, and students discussed how the traits of the characters exemplified Dwight-Englewood’s Human Ed qualities of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, curiosity, engagement, initiative, perseverance, and risk-taking. The 6th graders then created a collaborative art display made from students’ individual dots.
