Dr. Omar Baker has been selected by the Hackensack Regional Chamber of Commerce as its “Distinguished Citizen of The Year.” Omar is co-president, chief quality and safety officer, and director of performance improvement at Riverside Medical Group.

Omar was the recipient of New Jersey’s prestigious NJBiz Forty Under 40 Award in 2017.  In 2018, Omar was recognized in the NJBIZ Vanguard Series: Leaders in Health Care.

For his clinical excellence as a leading pediatrician in the state he was a NJBIZ Healthcare Heros Physician of the Year finalist.
