Chad Mekles visited Jordana Kirsh Berger in Memphis, TN, where she now resides with her family. After a delicious BBQ lunch and a tour of the Graceland museum dedicated to Elvis, they attended the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Chicago Bulls NBA game. They are pictured with Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons.

Chad also hosted a CMEK Pre-Season Camp that was attended by several children with Dwight-Englewood connections. Among those were Rajan and Kaveer, children of Kalpana Bains.  Campers participated in a full-day of sports and activities centered around basketball and including other activities geared to provide the kids with a fun and rewarding experience. Rajan and Kaveer started playing with CMEK in the spring and the program has not only given them a love for the sport but has taught them how practice, hard work, and teamwork pay off. They were involved in full court games and championships, ending the season proudly holding trophies over their heads and wearing huge smiles on their faces. They can’t wait to start playing again next season!
